We are excited to bring you Tips for Tips, a blog featuring suggestions on how to earn more tips on a regular basis. This blog comes together as after years of being in the rideshare industry we are ASTOUNDED some of the advice we have seen being passed around on how to earn more tips. We thought we would get into the mix to start bringing you tips and suggestions as submitted by your fellow drivers, moderated by your friends here at RideAlong Media to ensure none of that madness gets through.
There are a few things you should be aware of before continuing down this path with us and reading further. Most importantly is that you are in the SERVICE business, and if you are one of the many "my car, my way" drivers this blog probably isn't for you. RideAlong works with drivers who are focused on providing the best possible customer service to each and every passenger. If you are not willing to make some simple changes to reap big rewards in your business then this definitely isn't for you. We absolutely understand that you are running your own business, so at the end of the day the way you run it is up to you. However we won't tolerate negativity, fighting, or other crude/inappropriate behavior in the comments on this blog. Keep it positive, and keep it profitable.
The next thing that you need to know, is that we ALWAYS welcome your feedback and suggestions. Joe and Brad started RideAlong Media, however it only exists today on account of the incredible feedback, support, and suggestions from the driver community. If you have a tip for other drivers on how to earn more tips, please submit to us and we will share it. (We would even be open to having you write a guest post for the blog!) If you know a mistake other drivers commonly make that could be costing them tips, please submit it to us. Or, in the event you have checked out our app and have suggestions on what we could do better, please submit them. (We won’t consider this a tip, but if you haven’t checked out our app you might consider it. Drivers are reporting receiving tips from up to 23% more of their rides when running it, and we just sent our first driver commission checks this month!).
